The wagon appeared to sit quiet. All about it remained still as she watched it near her with each step she took toward it. Its painted canvas fascinated her with the many attractive colors that adorned it.
“Hello?” she ventured as she got closer. No answer came to her. When she reached touching distance of the festive attraction before her, she reached out a hesitant fingertip to touch it. Her surroundings immediately sprang to life at her touch, and she jumped back into a pair of strong arms.

A certain strangeness!
He knew, the minute he had entered, that this was not a place that belonged to his friend. A certain strangeness enveloped him as the tent flapped closed behind him. Fear squeezed his heart. Adrenalin rushed up through his chest in much the same way as it had when he’d seen the monster in last year’s haunted house. But he had slipped into a trancelike state of consciousness before he could leave the mysterious place he had entered into.
“Scotty?” Val called into the distance. The last she had seen her little charge he had been skipping away from the school house.

“They are coming for you!”
She resisted his pull. “But I thought That Alexander had handled this! He told them that I am not a witch!”
Scotty turned his widened eyes toward her. “Is that what he told you?” He pulled on her again and this time she followed.
Okay. I relented and told you a little bit more. But we still do not know what she is going to do! Heh, heh,heh maybe next week we will be in a different time and space, or in another story. EVIL GRIN

They Were Coming For Her!
They were coming. The angered crowd hoisted their pitchforks and shouted curses in the direction of her cottage. The vengeful sounds that erupted from their throats roared through the trees.
Her breath caught on her heart, which had wedged itself in her throat. She snapped her hand away from the window and its covering closed.
She turned her back to the window and leaned against it. What would she do now?

Mixed Emotions!
I'm having mixed emotions about this year's National Novel Month. I need to stay busy on my wip, but I don't want to break my winning streak with my NaNos!
I'm thinking that I'm going to go for the NaNo this year while still working on my current novel at the same time. I also need to stay active in the two 100x100 challenges I'm in.
No more mixed emotions. I I can do both and that will be my goal for November! Y'all keep me accountable, Ya Hear!

The Fear of Witchcraft!
The fear of witchcraft is delicately perched on the thin edge of superstition here in my new world hometown. But she persevered in spite of what people thought, knowing the children who lived here needed her special abilities within their thoughts in order to thrive in this new world.
Her innate sensitivities told her that the bored children who lived here needed her calming skills for their sanity. The people who lived here knew she loved their children and that she worked well with them.
With that in mind, they entrusted their troubled young ones to her care. Surely none of them would falsely accuse her of being a witch for her loving tendencies. But they have begun to visit and bring their children to see me, less often.
Will they soon be coming for her? Will they accuse her of witchcraft? Her suspense is palpable! Is yours? heh,heh,heh . . . Stay tuned!

Alexander did not consciously know where he was about to take her, but he followed his subconscious. It did know.
They took his car and began to drive through the city streets. Alexander frowned and Valerie shivered as their surroundings became dirtier and more depressing with each block they took. Soon he stopped his car outside a very large, very old and decrepit building.
